Luminous Gravity Ball

During my one-year long experience of studying abroad in another half of the globe,I learned how to observe time and space are creatively and profoundly defined by human activities. We use clock and calender to regulate time; we set up boundaries and quadrilles to define space; we use signifier to mark out the signified; we set up policies and regulations to normalize our society.

To maximize the utility of the space, a group of “gravity globes” are proposed to be constructed in the atrium as cafe booths. They are structurally designed to give the vivid experience of gravity. The design also pictures the interactions between the nature - sunshine and wind - and the globes.
